@jamesmkfoo23 We are also focussing on MCP integration and agree that given the level of support it may be the easiest route to supporting many different types of integrations. One of our focus areas is to support MCP as a first class tool type for Agents in Semantic Kernel. With MCP gaining momentum, IMO it is much more straight forward to use SK with MCP plugins and abstract from SK the connection to Memory (data stores), non MCP plugins and even Text Search.
I would want to focus on Agent orchestration:
managing state: context and conversation
managing agent prompt and metadata
Thoughts and ideas? Am I having the right chain of thought here?
