what is the purpose of the range in Spectre V4 #136

This is in reference to the Spectre V4 test case (https://github.com/microsoft/sca-fuzzer/blob/main/tests/x86_tests/asm/spectre_v4.asm) with screenshot included below: 
What is the purpose of adding a minimum (of 512) to the range. For instance, why could we not use the range (0x000 -0x900) - i.e not add any minimum value after anding? |

This line is not essential. It slightly improves readability when inspecting hardware traces by making the speculative access closer to the middle of the trace. But otherwise, it has no purpose and can be removed without affecting the speculation mechanism. |
