Suggestions freeze and stop working until I close and open the file again

Steps to reproduce

Using the IDE normally and out of the blue, the intelissense/imports/recommendations stop working completely.

This is happening in the last releases.

Issue

This is an example of the issue. I was typing normally, and it stopped working after typing "tscon". All the typescript features stopped working right after that moment, and it got into a stale state.

TypeScript IntelliSense and all the features are working correctly in other files/tabs, but that specific file is stale.

After closing the tab and opening it again, everything starts working well until it happens again. This happens very frequently in my codebase, but I don't have a way to reproduce it. I don't see any errors in the LSP logs.

I don't have a way to reproduce it, but please let me know how I can give more feedback.

Go into the typescript-native-preview (LSP) output pane

and change the level to "Trace" with the gear icon

and then next time this happens, open that pane (instead of the typescript-native-preview output) and see if messages are being sent as you hover and type.

@andrewbranch I emailed you with some logs since they contain private info. I don't see anything relevant, and it's very verbose, so maybe I'm missing something.

@andrewbranch I managed to create a repro. It's difficult to trigger in this small project, but in a large codebase, it is way easier to happen.

I feel that it's easier to trigger this in the file outside the rootDir, but it already happened in the one inside src/index.ts (I was not recording). There is a video showing the issue.

I finished looking through the logs you emailed, and I’m 99% sure this is a VS Code (or vscode-languageclient) bug. What I see is the client suddenly and inexplicably stop asking for diagnostics, but still send us changes, and we process the changes no problem. @mjbvz do you know anything about this?

I also remember @DanielRosenwasser saying a while back that he occasionally saw some stale errors, and wasn’t sure whether it was us or the client. Daniel, does this repro look familiar to what you’ve seen in the past?

Wow, I was able to repro this immediately with @rubnogueira’s example repo, and can confirm that we’re in a good state while the client just stops asking for new errors.

One way you can tell this is definitely not us is it doesn't resolve itself when you restart the language server. I get stale errors across restarts (which have a line/column associated that no longer exists in the file, which causes us to crash getting code fixes, in this case)

I'm happy that you manage to reproduce. For a second I thought it was something that would only occur on my device. 😆

This happens with both VSCode and Cursor. Please let me know if I can help with additional context, since I have to restart my IDE several times a day.

The pros of using "Corsa" are still higher than not using it.

For me this starting happening in the last 2 days - every file I edit, typescript stops updating. if I close the file and re-open the file sometimes it resolves. Sometimes though it doesn't resolve unless I restart the tsgo plugin. In the logs I see:

I can't see any difference in the logs for when it occurs and doesn't occur.

If it is vscode and not tsgo, I did upgrade to v1.108.1 also ~ 2 days ago.
