does anybody can debugg a project using cmake+conan+boost library?

i am having hard time using vscode debugger with cmake+conan+boost library, even hello world from cmake example dosent work, i tried in a fedora and in a ubuntu distro and is the same problem, you can compile but theres no way to debug the project, vscode always tries to use gcc compiler or cmake default configuration, i had run cmake --preset conan-release and still want to launch default or gcc. if anybody can please tell me how did you did it, i tried everthing, googled everthing, chatgpt, claude sonnet, etc, nothing can solve the issue.
