.NET SDK not recognized when C# Dev Kit first installed #2314

Describe the Issue

I'm getting this error after installing the C# Dev Kit, even though I just installed the .NET SDK:

I verified that dotnet --info works on the command-line.

Steps To Reproduce

  • Start up Windows Sandbox
  • Install the .NET 9 SDK
  • Install VS Code
  • Install C# Dev Kit in VS Code

Expected Behavior

No error message about the .NET SDK missing.
