The new AI extensions that were automatically installed cause errors if AI is disabled in VS Code #1499
Description
A recent update to the Java extension pack adds "GitHub Copilot app modernization", an extension that I do not want or need.
After this extension was automatically installed, it triggered an error popup every time I launch VS Code.
This error happens because I have intentionally disabled AI by modifying my VS Code settings. The fact that this was not tested is quite embarrassing.
Having Microsoft install extensions I do not want or need, which then trigger errors whenever I launch VS Code is incredibly frustrating.
