We looked into the same thing here: #7338
But ultimately decided that there wasn't a better way to indicate draft :(.

This was one of @mrleemurray's proposals, but we thought it looked too noisy:

I guess even if it's noisy it's less space than the [DRAFT].

We can't actually use the proposal above, as that uses codicons. We're limited to unicode. How about this:
