Cannot run debugger through Python debugger: Debug Python file

Issue

In the last two days. I am not able to launch the debugger through "Python debugger: Debug Python file"

When I click the following button, nothing happened.

Here's the output of the console. I don't know how to check the [Debug] logs.

I still able to use the debugpy command or click the Run and debug button to launch the debugger.

But this still bring me some inconvenience. Please tell me how to fix it.

I later figure out that this is because I added a local setting.json file into the .vscode folder in my workspace. Which should have covered the global vscode settings.

As soon as I delete the setting.json, everything back to normal.
