Need to install `pytest` manually with generic link to logs

As others have mentioned in the parent issue, I needed to run pip install pytest after VS Code created the virtual env for me

For reference, this is what I saw beforehand:

this was an issue where I put the wrong args in the example workspace + pytest always has to be installed manually
