Behaviour

A Pixi project environment resolution is unreliable/incorrect with the native locator as seen in the screenshots below:

Start with Python: Locator = native (default)

Switch to Python: Locator = js

Switch back to Python: Locator = native (default)

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install Pixi using PowerShell
   iwr -useb https://pixi.sh/install.ps1 | iex
2. In a command window or Powershell create a test python project

3. Open VSCode, add the test folder to the workspace and open test\src\test\__init__.py to see the behavior in the first screenshot.
4. Switch Python extension's Python: Locator setting from native (default) to js and close VSCode.
5. Open VSCode to see the behavior in the second screenshot
6. Switch Python extension's Python: Locator setting from js back to native (default) and close VSCode.
7. Open VSCode to see the behavior in the third screenshot

Can you try the pre-release version of the extension? we added a fix for native locator to find pixi environments.

This is what I did:

1. Update the extension to pre-release and changed the locator setting to native
2. Created a new test3 pixi folder with a different python version (3.12.2).
3. Opened a new workspace and added the test1 folder.

native locator, in pre-release version picked the correct python interpreter, except, as earlier, :Pixi annotation is missing when compared with js locator

It also enumerates all the installed python interpreters correctly now. So the above issue appears to be fixed, however, the native locator doesn't resolve multiple pixi folder environments correctly, whereas js locator can
