New line support in labels and `workbench.editor.customLabels.patterns` setting

The new setting workbench.editor.customLabels.patterns was just released (docs). I'm a maintainer of Svelte/SvelteKit and we're updating the Svelte VS Code extension to ensure users benefit from this new setting (sveltejs/language-tools#2330). We would love to be able to use a new line in that setting to create a label using two lines at shown below

@benmccann What is the main goal of having the name span two lines?

What if you would be able to specify the description of the label? Would that help solve your goal? The description is ...\tree in this example:

I appreciate @benmccann's proposal because it uses less horizontal space and more vertical space. In the case where SvelteKit is used, it's very common to have a large number of tabs open, because of the +page.svelte, +page..ts, +layout.svelte, +layout..ts combinations.

@benibenj I think being able to specify the description of the label would definitely be a step in the right direction.

The pattern is not matching when I have [] in the folder names.
