• VS Code Version: 1.102.3
• OS Version: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro, 10.0.26100 Build 26100

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Generate a markdown file with some content
2. Open the markdown in VS Code and preview using the "Open Preview" button

Do not close the VS Code instance

3. Override the file from 1, may be by downloading/copying a markdown file with the same name.
4. Now open the new file in VS Code and preview the data
5. The preview from the earlier version of the file is shown and not the latest file
