Questions about Winget PowerShell Modules

I was reading the Winget PowerShell Module documentation and found that the README still lists the "Microsoft.WinGet" module as an alpha release. However, I notice the module has been published on the PowerShell Gallery and appears to be actively maintained. Can someone confirm if this is still considered alpha, or has it progressed to a more stable release/GA status?
