Based on microsoft/winget-pkgs#271696. During an attempt of mine to have a tag tally for the Microsoft.PowerToys manifest reach to almost 30, I hit an error during PR pipelining that said the max number of allowed tags was 16; and https://github.com/microsoft/winget-cli/blob/master/schemas/JSON/manifests/v1.10.0/manifest.defaultLocale.1.10.0.json#L206-L214 seems to confirm that. So simply out of curiosity: How was the exact number of 16 landed on? Were there any specific reasons? |

It was an arbitrary decision at the time. I tend to like powers of two and couldn't think of any real reason to need more than that. At least that was the case at that point in time. |
