Hey, I'm running the GOG version of MM7. I followed the instructions at https://github.com/might-and-magic/mmcheat?tab=readme-ov-file#mm678

Inside the game, when I hit Ctrl + Backspace, I get this error (I can paste the entire log if needed). Am I doing something wrong?

Ok, I fixed the bug. If your "mm7.exe" has Windows 95 compatibility mode enabled, you need to disable it.
I don’t know why it was set to that mode.

If it’s greyed out, make a copy of the EXE and disable it on the copy.
