Flask-socketio server with python-socketio client

I'm just trying to make use of flask-socketio to make use of endpoints for external emit.

From the following link, I have tried the server and Asyncclient solution. I get socketio.exceptions.ConnectionError: One or more namespaces failed to connect

From the following link, I have tried the solution of adding namespaces. It worked without errors. Here the error clearly mentioned the bad namespace after adding the namespace it worked.

Here's the versions I'm currently using

Flask-SocketIO==5.3.1
python-engineio==4.3.4
python-socketio==5.7.1

Without logs for the client and the server, I can only guess. Please get the logs. See the troubleshooting section of the docs if you don't know how to enable logging.

Can you show the on_connect function? Why is request set to None in this function?

It was not set to None. I have just passed the request import from Flask

request is not an argument, it is the request object from Flask.
