Are controller keys not allowed to be used for actions?

Hi Leaders,

I was starting to migrate to Leader Key from my Karabiner hyper + sublayer keys workflow.

In this setup, I use hyper + w + ⌫ for restore to it's last position (raycast://extensions/raycast/window-management/restore). However, in Leader Key, backspace takes me back one level up (or to the root), which I assume is intended. My question is: are controller keys usable as action keys in Leader Key? And, whether we can use the key codes (say 51 for backspace) and corresponding rendered (utf) codes ("⌫") interchangeably?
