I've been a long term Raycast user (several years) and I set my workflow with a lot of shortcuts to access applications directly. I really love this approach but Raycast as the limitation of not offering grouping. Adding more and more applications (and actions) to use shortcuts, I need to introduce different layers to group them in order to not override the shortcuts. This is when LeaderKey arrives and really shines at it (thanks for it @mikker 👏🏻), with the ability to group and create layers.
For example, I use LeaderKey to access specific apps very quickly:
+ W for my Web browser
+ T for my Terminal
...
Sometimes, I want to quickly switch in between two apps so I'm forced to do the two different shortcuts — one for the web browser and one for the terminal. I was thinking if adding the ability to toggle an app would make sense. Let's say, I execute + T to display my terminal. But if I do + T again nothing happens as the terminal already has the focus. I'd like to have an option to hide the app (toggle) if a shortcut is executed and the app associated to it already has the focus.
Raycast already does this toggle thing and I really like the ability to quickly toggle an app by using its dedicated shortcut.
