how to open and execute a command in iTerm

i have configured a shortcut for leader key and I can open item fine. What if I need to assign another shortcut to open mpd or yazi in term?

this does not execute anything:

I don't use iTerm but I use Ghostty and I do open -na ghostty --args --title=ghostty-from-lk --working-directory="$(pwd)" --command="yazi"

I asked chatgpt and it gave me this : open -na iTerm2 --args /opt/homebrew/bin/yazi try it and see if it works

and make sure to configure it as a command on LK

also be careful as what you entered "yazi" in your screenshot will not execute yazi with iterm, yazi there is just the name of the item you created and it will not have any effect other than show you the name yazi that's it

worked with: open -na Terminal /opt/homebrew/bin/yazi. but I am unable to close the terminal with "q" as usual. The terminal keeps opened when yazi is closed

you can use these keyboard shortcut : cmd+w to close that window or cmd+q to completely close Terminal
