[Duo S] ARM image boot failiure

Using the fresh SDK, on fresh ubuntu Jammy, I have managed to get an image built.
Trying to boot the image, it gets stuck on:
SDHCI-send-command: MMC: 0 busy timeout
unable to select a mode

I can't proceed past this.

Milk V Duo S with wifi and emmc
sd card is samsung 32gb

• tested with riscv image and works fine

Did you change the physical switch to 'arm'?

Yep. Physical switch was changed to ARM.
More internal testing makes it appear as if its an issue with certain cards.

This is all flashing with a stock image created on Ubuntu using this unmodified repo except the one marked RV which is using the risc-v image
