Hiding the url bar breaks firefox

Hi, 

I tried to hide the URL bar since you can open it with `ctrl+L` but when I do `#navbar {display: none} !important` it breaks the whole browser. I must rollback my changes for the browser to be usable again. 

How can I hide it without breaking the browser ?
