corfu--metadata-get(nil) with tempel on upgrade to Emacs 30

Hi,

I am having a little trouble with corfu and tempel after upgrading to emacs 30 (debugger output pasted below). The problem seems to be that (corfu--metadata-get 'category) returns nil, but I am not smart enough to follow the ins and outs of the code. Do you have any clues as to what's going on?

I suggest to remove and reinstall all packages after the upgrade to Emacs 30. The problem is most likely that you have an outdated version of Compat. Emacs 30 comes with a Compat stub out of the box, such that you won't have to install it anymore.
