[BUG]: Formatting features (bold, italic, underline, strikethrough) not applying when all text is selected #231

Describe the bug
When selecting all text (Ctrl+A or manual selection across all blocks) and applying formatting features (bold, italic, underline, strikethrough), the formatting is not applied to all selected blocks. Only some blocks get formatted, or formatting fails entirely.

Expected behavior
When all text is selected and a formatting button is clicked, formatting should apply to all selected blocks
All text across all blocks should receive the formatting consistently
The selection should be detected correctly regardless of how it was made (Ctrl+A or manual selection)
What is actually happening?
Selecting all text and clicking bold/italic/underline/strikethrough buttons doesn't apply formatting to all blocks
Only some blocks get formatted, or formatting is inconsistent
The selection detection may not be working correctly for "select all" scenarios
Formatting may only apply to the first block instead of all selected blocks
