[BUG]: Tabbar menu-items not working on initial selection

Describe the bug

Tab bar menu-items (B,I,U, font, font-size and heading) not working if select menu-item first then write any text.
When click a menu-item, it does not highlight the selected menu-item.

Steps to reproduce

No response

Expected behavior

Menu-item (B,I,U, font, font-size and heading) should work when any of the item selected and write text.
Also should highlight the selected menu-item.

What is actually happening?

Working when select a piece of text and then select menu-item (i.e. B,I,U, font, font-size and heading)
