Description
Hi,
This is a copy of a bug I have reported on the original app :
I'd like to use SicMu to play my recordings from the "Recordings" folder but this folder, which contains m4a audio files (created by the default recorder app), doesn't appear on the tree after a scan. If I open one of these files from my file manager, choosing SicMu Player, the app just starts without doing anything and just shows its usual folders. Sometimes it doesn't even start at all.
The same happens with the "Ringtones" folder. These folders don't contain any .nomedia file. The issue doesn't appear with some other audio players.
If I give SMP the permission to access "Music and audio", there's a message (I translate from my tongue) : "Access to all files will also be allowed. This app isn't compatible with the last Android version. If this app can access music and audio files, it will be also allowed to access photos, videos and other files."
But even with access to all files, the issue remains. It seems related to the way Android manages permissions in recent versions. More recent apps which specifically ask permission to access "Music and audio" don't seem to have the issue.
