Create ignores already existing volumes

we always call create with -p which will cause it to ignore already existing datasets. Should this be a flag?

If somebody is worried about existing volumes, couldn't he/she just add an extra test to and add special error handling their instead of having everybody to catch errors if the dataset has existed (which is a little bit harder)
