I recently released a project that aims to implement SSL unpinning in the browser using ADB over WebUSB.
As the project is basically a client-side typescript re-implementation of yours (insert debuggable=true flag, use JDWP to instrument onCreate etc.) I have mentioned this project in the acknowledgements, you can find it here:
