Default orientation for straight lasers

I get quite frustrated when a straight laser gets distracted by acquiring a target that is not along the corridor where I intended it to fire. I try to compensate this with strategies like first/last, but in my experience the distraction probability goes higher as the range of the tower increases.

I would like to be able to tell a straight laser to always fire north/south/east/west, and acquire targets elsewhere only the corridor in that line is currently empty

I'd like to suggest an option "manual" and then display a gizmo to manually rotate the turret when selected.
I'd also suggest replacing that single cycling button with set of buttons at least for larger screens.
But allow old behavior through the game settings.

Also also, an ability to ignore an enemy by type would be very nice to have.
