Hi @Juan-132, Thank you for starting discussion. I'm focused on MLJAR Studio - desktop application that helps with data analysis with no-code GUI blocks and AI assistants, you can read more on our website https://mljar.com. That's why Mercury development slowed down. In the future, I would like to keep simplicity of Mercury and add more options for customization (styles, layout). Regarding working closer with Volia, I would like to keep Mercury as separate package. It gives use more freedom in development. |

Hello, I like the Mercury package, thank you for making it!
I've been using it a lot recently, and love the simplicity of turning Notebooks into WebApps!
I've noticed there was a lot of activity in this repository in 2024, but it slowed down significantly in 2025.
There is also another package to turn notebooks into WebApps (Voila)
Compared to Voila I like Mercury because of the simplicity, overview-page, and the ability to export to self-contained HTML
Questions
How do you see the future of this package?
Will there be active development again? Or is it external contibution only?
Are there discussions with voila about bringing things together?
(maybe there is not suffient differentiation for both packages to exist in the same space ultimately?)
