ESP8226 to append data in new rows on an existing spreadsheet

I tried append.ino. But it creates 2 rows and then manually you mentioned to append it to row 3. Can you give me a snippet how to automatically append data lets say in column 2 & 3 in new rows if i pass two variables lets say temp & humidity
