Permission denied as response when I am trying to create a new spreadsheet

I am getting 403: Permission denied as response when I am trying to create a new spreadsheet. It seems Gsheets.ready() works, but as soon as I try to create I get a permission denied. Are there any settings in Google cloud console apart from what you have elaborated in your Readme?

the permission denied error on create spreadsheet is usually due to scope issues or service account not having drive access.

check these:

1. make sure you have the correct oauth scopes. for creating spreadsheets you need both:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive (or drive.file)

2. in google cloud console go to:

   • APIs & Services > OAuth consent screen
   • make sure Google Sheets API is enabled
   • make sure Google Drive API is also enabled

3. if using service account, make sure its domain-wide delegation is configured correctly (if youre using gsuite/workspace).

4. regenerate your credentials. sometimes the token gets stale:

// delete stored credentials and re-auth
GSheet.deleteToken();

5. check if the service account email has access. for service accounts, you need to share the parent folder or give it drive access.

6. verify your ESP is getting the correct token. add debug:

Serial.println(GSheet.getToken());

7. if you just enabled the apis, wait a few minutes for propagation.

8. double check your client_id and client_secret are for the correct project.

the gsheet.ready() passing just means auth is working, but creating spreadsheet requires different permissions than reading/writing existing ones.
