Camera spins wildly in map view when mouse is over principia window

Description

During high speed time warp, if I move my mouse into Principia GUI, the camera starts to spin wildly. But once I moved the mouse out of the window, spinning stops.

Steps to reproduce

• Clean install of KSP and Principia
• Launch a vessel into Kerbin orbit
• Press M to enter the map view and warp at maximum speed
• Move mouse into Principia window, and the camera starts to spin
• Move the mouse out and spinning stops.

This might be caused by a bug in stock ksp, but somehow triggered by principia. Open Debug console when warping can also trigger the camera spinning bug.

I don't think this is related with other mods cuz I only have Principia installed. I believe that this is a bug of Stock KSP but can be triggered by Principia's UI and other mods' UI.

But not all mod's ui will trigger the bug. For example, MechJeb, moving mouse in or out to MJ's gui will not trigger the bug.

Also, the camera seems to spin at a constant speed with the current body which the vessel is orbiting (in this case camera spins at the same speed with Kerbin)

I dimly recall this happening more often than it does now; I think it had to do with the input locks.

@c6ForH66, does this happen regardless of orbit altitude? (I wonder whether this has to do with KSP’s use of a rotating frame at lower altitudes.)

Also happens in Skopos while in map view, using RP-1 with some extra mods

I can't reproduce this, even with a relatively low orbit (125 km altitude). I note that the video in the report has MechJeb (so it's not just KSP+Principia). I have no mods at all other than Principia. Not sure if that matters.

That is not that low; compare the video whose altimeter reads 86758 m.

I think Kerbin’s inverseRotThresholdAltitude is 100 km, which lies in between these two values, so I strongly suspect this has something to do with KSP’s rotating frame antics.

Ok, reproduced with an equatorial trajectory at 84 km/92 km.

Exactly, I've done some further tests, the issue is invisible when altitude is above 100km. And it reappears once the vessel falls below 100km. And it does not seem to be related to a specific body. Altitude below 100km when orbiting any body will cause the issue.
