Step by Step Examples

To help illustrate the generative design process, it is useful to include step-by-step examples as exercise for readers of the Grasshopper Primer. For an example, see the 1.3.2 Working With Attractors chapter of the Primer.

These examples are formatted using Markdown as a table with three columns:

1. Step number
2. Written description. Component names should be in bold.
3. Image of Component, if a new component is added to the definition in the current step.

It is useful to periodically include an image of the definition, with numbered leaders for components corresponding to the step that component was placed on the canvas. If possible, also include a screenshot or image of the resulting to geometry, to allow the user to check their own progress.
