Unable to set up MCP

Hi all, I am trying to set up the Filesystem MCP Server and followed the instructions below

I amended my claude_desktop_config.json and node.js is installed, but when I restart Claude Desktop I don't see the Hammer Icon on the bottom corner of my input box. I am not using Pro but the instructions doesn't mention anywhere that its needed.

I've also tried following the following YouTube but still don't get the Hammer Icon.

Just got it working after making sure I exited the Claude in the file menu before restarting.

I can confirm that you need to choose "File-Exit" for the hammer icon to show up. Thank you for posting this.

I had to close it via task manager to get it to work

I added the details and then used File-Exit but after this, Claude dos not start up. Nothing erroneous in log file. What could be wrong?
