Horizontal well simulation via MNW2

Hello,

I wanted to get some ideas from experts here. I have a modflow-nwt model which i used to simulate horizontal well collectors using MNW2 package. Now i was wondering to upgrade the entire model to MODFLOW 6 to use some extra capabilities of it but to my knowledge, MNW2 is not available for MODFLOW 6. Could anyone give some points and suggestions here?

Thanks, for asking @Saman-M-B. This is more of a MODFLOW 6 question than a flopy question, but the package to use in MODFLOW 6 is https://modflow6.readthedocs.io/en/latest/_mf6io/gwf-maw.html
Easier to specify and often converges much better than the old MNW2.
