I can expose components, but is it possible to expose functions and import those in consuming applications?

I want to make a common library that will be used in multiple applications, so it should expose components and other util functions as well.

I could expose and import functions but I'm getting this error.

Server Error
TypeError: __webpack_modules__[moduleId] is not a function

This error happened while generating the page. Any console logs will be displayed in the terminal window.

I think this is because I import that function directly

import utils from 'app1/utils';
