Bulk PISP 2.0 Discussion

PB presented designs for bulk operations in the PISP 2.0 API on DA call 2025-03-05 09:00 UTC. To be continued at next DA session due to time constraints.

Discussed at todays DA call. Resource needed to take this further.

PM suggests discussing this at the upcoming Mojacom is required. Immediate work is to turn design into stories that devs can work on. A working session is scheduled to do this at the convening. MR and PM to sync on prep work for that session.

Discussed at DA today. No progress so far although PISP 2.0 work is underway.

Update from SK & PM on DA call today:

• PM trying to find a workstream lead (Alain K lined up).
• Structure not finalised as yet.
• Some contributions coming but patchy so far.
• Some contributors are trying to start but they need more help.
• Stories have been created.
  • Hub side stories mainly complete.
  • Remaining stories mainly around TTK test cases to demonstrate the functionality.
  • Alain K (wiredin) has agreed to mentor contributors but cant start for a couple of weeks.

MR points out that bulk is not catered for as yet. This will need more thought.

The group discuss wider issues of bulk PISP interfaces, where various responsibilities reside etc... no firm conclusions reached. Market adoption is needed to push this forward.
