On December 14, 2025, the Sui blockchain experienced a significant network disruption starting around 20:27 GMT (as per initial reports). Users and protocols reported degraded consensus, leading to much higher transaction latencies and stalled block production. This caused interruptions in DeFi activities, such as trading on platforms like Deeptrade, where functionality was temporarily halted. Community members, including node operators, attributed the issue to a coordinated DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack targeting all Sui validators. I've been going through the code. Looks good. I did notice data blobs for total amount scammed, code for updating and summing up with a total across all incidents.

"No funds reported lost,..." is going to be a problem as far as I can see. Firstly, funds are never lost, one man's loss is another man's gain. So it's a sort of value judgement, the funds were transferred from someone considered worthy to someone considered unworthy.

Yet, no funds were transferred in this incident. It does nothing for the flaming counter.

Does the site really point out DDoS attacks as an incident? Do they know that Bitcoin runs so slow it may aswell run on a Casio watch while being permanently under DDoS attack?
