Describe the bug
Current version is not compatible with Django 6.0

To Reproduce
upgrade to Django 6.0

Setup Information (please complete the following information):

• Python version 3.12.3
• Django version 5.2.9
• django-bootstrap-datepicker-plus version 5.0.6

If I install django 6 and ignore the dependency warnings, everything seems to run ok. Maybe it's only the dependency tree that has to be updated. Can somebody confirm that?

I tried just ignoring the dependency warning and ran into issues. let me grab the traceback:

Looks like the django.utils.itercompat module has been removed all together in favor of python built in functionality to determine iterability.

Just realized the error I posted is happening with dal_select2 not this package, @christianwgd proposition might be valid still, my bad
