Can't run Monkeytype Locally

When I try to run npm install it get this error:

I don't know why. This is my first time doing this.

You have to install Node version 14.18.1, it seems you have downloaded the LTS (long term support) version. Here's the link to the correct version

What happens when you manually run npm run build and firebase serve --only hosting

I don't get any errors but I get just a blank page.

Blank page? When going to localhost? Check browser console.

I wonder why I have the same problem...

It is because build is no longer a script. You don't need to run this script. Follow the CONTRIBUTING.MD on the repo to understand how to run this project.
