option to change smooth line scroll speed and easing/smoothing

currently the tape mode with smooth line scrolling looks quite jittery and weird unless you type very fast at a consistent rate. it would be nice if you could kind of give it some inertia (not stopping/starting as quickly) if that makes sense

sorry im not really sure how to give an example. i cant think of any other things that have something similar to monkeytypes tape mode and i dont know how to do video editing or animation
