I wanted to suggest making the typing heatmap on Monkeytype profiles public—just like GitHub’s contribution graph. Right now, the heatmap (which shows how many tests you’ve done each day) is only visible to the account owner, which kind of limits its usefulness. If it were publicly viewable on profiles, it could add a lot more depth. People could actually see how consistent someone has been, not just their top scores. It would also be a great motivator and a way for users to showcase their dedication over time. Since the feature already exists, it feels like a missed opportunity to keep it private by default. Of course, there could be an option to hide it for those who prefer more privacy. Just thought this would make public profiles feel more complete and engaging! |
