🤔 What is Enigma? Enigma is a mathematics and computer science competition organized by the Mathematics Society of University of Moratuwa. It features challenging problems that require analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, inspired by detective work.
👥 Team Requirements? Teams can have 1-4 members. Both solo participants and teams are welcome. Mixed teams from different universities are encouraged!
🔄 Can I Change Teams? Team changes are allowed until the registration deadline (February 25, 2025). Contact us via email for team modifications.
🎓 Who Can Participate? Open to all university students, recent graduates, and professionals. No specific prerequisites required - just bring your problem-solving enthusiasm!
🧩 What Types of Problems? Mathematical puzzles, algorithmic challenges, logical reasoning problems, and computational thinking tasks. Think Sherlock Holmes meets computer science!
⏱️ Competition Format? Full-day competition (8 AM - 6 PM) with multiple rounds including individual challenges, team problems, and final presentations. Breaks and meals provided.
🏆 What Can I Win? Cash prizes, certificates, networking opportunities, and the honor of being crowned Enigma champions! Plus valuable experience in competitive problem-solving.
📱 What Should I Bring? Laptop, calculator, writing materials, and your detective mindset! Power banks recommended. Meals and refreshments will be provided.
🔧 Technical Requirements? Bring your own laptop with preferred programming languages/tools installed. WiFi and power outlets will be provided. No specific software requirements.
📍 Where & When? University of Moratuwa campus on March 15, 2025. Detailed venue information will be sent to registered participants via email.
🚗 Parking & Transportation? Free parking is available on campus. Public transportation options and ride-sharing coordinates will be shared with registered participants.
💰 Registration Fees? Student rate: LKR 500 per member, Team package: LKR 1500 for 3-4 members, Professional rate: LKR 800 per individual. All rates include meals and materials.
