Run a Command Parameters

so attempting to send an email with the video file via "run a command" after its done...the issue I am experiencing is that the "%f" just comes back with null

I do have a custom folder for the files however the system is able to parse it and view them...as a test, I did execute a chmod 777 just to make sure it wasnt permissions...when running the script with the file name, it sends the email with file as desired...also I did add a sleep, still nothing...it almost like the "%f" parameter is "null"

I tested this and for me %f is working correctly.
I used this simple test command: echo "%f" >> /tmp/test.log
After a motion event, the output was:

/var/lib/motioneye/Camera1/2026-01-02/14-46-51.mp4

This matches the Motion documentation for %f (filename with full path):

Maybe you could share the exact command you are using?
