"start.elf" is notCompatible - error on RPI-4

Dear All I see this issue from long ago but is still happening.
Is there no fix??

I using a RPI-4 model b 8 GB

Messages:

start.elf is not compatible
This board requires newer software
....

I could do with some suggestions to get this out of the way.
PS in all boot-approaches the same issue...

The solution would be an update, but that's unlikely to happen as the developer has stopped working on it.

DietPi is the best solution for me. Easy to set up and regular updates. Just give it a try. :)
