Issue with Windows 11 text scaling

If you increase the text scaling in Windows 11 settings (System-Display-Scale-Text size), the context menus of the taskbar and folders remain unscaled. All other context menus are scaled normally.

here is manual setting:

Thank you. I added this line to shell.nss and the taskbar menu size changed. But it is larger than the desktop menu. The menu in the folder has not changed. Is it possible to make these menus scale automatically like all the others?

if the scaling is 125%, and let say the default font size 14, you calculate 14*1.25 = 17.5. so change 22 to 17 or 18, You can also leave it at 17.5, but I think NS function omits everything after the period.

for auto calculation, you can try this:

$dpi = reg.get('HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop', 'LogPixels')
$displayScale = if(dpi==0, 96, dpi)/96
theme.font.size=if(wnd.is_taskbar, 14*displayScale, auto)

it may not work if LogPixels does not exist

Okay, that's for the taskbar menu - theme.font.size=if(wnd.is_taskbar, 18, auto). But what about the other menus - folders, files, etc.? I couldn't find the names of the menus in the documentation.

I came across this issue while looking for fixes to the text antialiasing. With any luck, maybe you know: is there a way to have Shell have RGB antialiasing for fonts? Right now it can only do grayscale, and yes I have tried an opaque background.

I don't think so, that's a utility to tune cleartype, not force it on in apps. Shell seems to have it set to grayscale instead of RGB, or it's being forced because of some compositing stuff/layers/opacity/other factors
