Quick Suggest SQL file using over 1GB

It appears that for some users the quicksuggest-amp.sql file in Remote Settings directory is using up very large amounts of data.

Note: still investigating, but at least 2 separate iOS devices have been confirmed with quicksuggest-amp.sql files exceeding 1GB.

I’ve got the 1.16GB sql file from my Firefox app, if we can find someone from A~S to help investigate the data bloat I can find a way to transfer this file to them. Nishant Bhasin

PR is merged now. mozilla/application-services#7294 ( https://github.com/mozilla/application-services/pull/7294|smart-link ) will stop the existing dbs / new DBs from growing further. We still need a migration to cleanup the existing bloated DBs. I will open that today.
