What is the difference to this page https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/wiki/User-Scripts ? And why we need to maintain separate one? |
|
It seems reasonable to merge it into the wiki. |
It categorizes the user scripts, I think it's much better than only sort it alphabetically, it allows users to find scripts that otherwise would be hard to find due to poor description. It has more than user scripts. See the Media Player section: https://github.com/stax76/awesome-mpv?tab=readme-ov-file#media-player |
Advantages of my list are:

I reviewed the commit history and noticed there haven't been many updates. What constitutes the primary maintenance work? |

We can merge it to main wiki and let the community update it. Wiki access is public. |
Syncing it with the user scripts of the wiki. I do this every 3–6 months. The wiki has a diff feature which is helpful for that, it's not hard to do, but takes some time, and it's a little boring.
Wiki is good, but I don't know what is the easiest way to merge it, I only know git basics. If somebody can contribute to that, it would be helpful, or explain to me how to do it. |

Thank you for your project; it has been a great help to me. |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
I'm considering to discontinue awesome-mpv, mostly because it's very boring work, and it don't help with various health issues I have.
mpv.net would then be the only app I still maintain.
I think ideally the new home for awesome-mpv would be the mpv GitHub org, hoping to find enough people to update and improve it.
