HDR artifacting, how to fix? #17180
-
|
I recently got an HDR400 OLED display, and am trying to set up mpv to properly display HDR content, but I seem to be getting what I believe is artifacting on dark pixels, which isn't present when viewing the same content on VLC. Does anyone know how I can fix this? The VLC image seems a lot more vibrant as well, although I am not sure which one is more accurate. |

Dumb question but are you using gpu-next? It is enabled by default on the latest release. |

Which OS are you using? On linux you can check the version you are using through the package manager or type just run mpv in the terminal. If the version is older than 0.41.0, you should try to enable gpu-next in mpv's config file with vo=gpu-next.
