Not really on our side. There are dozens of applications that piggy-back on mpv name in some way. As long as you actually use libmpv and acknowledge that and comply with GPL/LGPL it's fine. Of course as long as the application is still related to core mpv functionality, everything with common sense. |

Thank you for the quick response! We do use libmpv and will make sure to properly acknowledge it. Thank you! 🙂 |

Hi,
I am the current main developer of mpvQC, a video quality control application built on top of libmpv. The project has been around for several years and is listed on your Applications using mpv wiki page.
We support Windows and Linux. For Linux, we currently build and distribute the app as a Flatpak via GitHub (mpvqc/mpvQC-flatpak), but are preparing to move to Flathub (tracked in mpvqc/mpvQC#285). This will give the app significantly more visibility, so before proceeding I wanted to ask: Do you have any concerns about the name "mpvQC"?
Happy to discuss or adjust if needed. Thanks for the great software! 😊
